Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)
The most common form of sleep apnea, OSA occurs when throat muscles relax and block the airway during sleep. PAP therapy is the gold-standard treatment.
Central Sleep Apnea (CSA)
CSA happens when the brain fails to send proper signals to the muscles that control breathing. BiPAP and adaptive servo-ventilation (ASV) devices are often prescribed.
Complex / Mixed Sleep Apnea
Some patients have a combination of obstructive and central sleep apnea. Our respiratory therapists work with your physician to identify the right therapy and device.
Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS)
